Are you aged 8 - 19? Enjoy singing? Want to perform with your friends? Join the first Youth Reggae Choir of Leeds - Reggae Roots!

Led by GCF Creative Associate Sheila Howarth, the young people will bring their own song ideas and requests, while working with Judah Morris with support from GCF Creative Associate Stella Litras to compose original music.

Reggae Roots is free to attend, with rehearsals taking place every Saturday from 10th September at Music HouseLeeds 10am - 12pm including:

  • 17th September
  • 24th September
  • 1st October
  • 8th October
  • 15th October

This will culminate in multiple public performances in Leeds City Centre on 22nd October.

Reggae Roots will be artistically led by Sheila and inspired by the 9 themes of the Journey of Discovery with The World Reimagined.
