Join Leeds Carnival Choir* and Motown alumna, Kim Weston, for an evening of calypso classics and soul at the Mandela Centre in Leeds on Friday 15th December, hosted by Khadijah Ibrahiim and Paullete Morris.

After their first performance at the Carnival King and Queen Show in August as part of Leeds West Indian Carnival‘s Arts Council England Funded milestone 50th anniversary celebrations, Leeds Carnival Choir is back with a special Christmas performance singing choral renditions of soca and calypso classics during the first half of the concert. In the second half, American soul singer and Motown alumna, Kim Weston, will be joined by artists including Rob Green and Tila, Tavelah and Kyrann from Leeds own Caution Collective for an exclusive performance, followed by a Q&A with Khadijah Ibrahiim.

Tickets are £5 (with an additional booking fee of 82p). We look forward to seeing you at the Mandela Community Centre on Friday 15th December for this very special evening to celebrate the festive season. Doors open at 7.30pm.
